An Enormous Change
And an invitation
Hey everybody,
Today I’d like to announce a big change, one that will impact all of you as readers of Algo Money, as well as an invitation. I’ll just get straight to the point.
I started Algo Money as an exercise to see if I could create a newsletter that could become a business asset. I think artificial intelligence is extremely interesting, and I enjoyed reading and writing about it every week for you guys.
But the truth is, my heart wasn’t really in Algo Money. It was always designed to be a means to an end, and ultimately I decided I don’t want to keep producing it, because I’m a firm believer that if things aren’t a “hell yes” then they should be a “hell no”.
Also, I didn’t want to keep producing a newsletter that was only offering half value. Because the truth is, there are some great newsletters about AI out there that are just as good or better than Algo Money.
Here are some to check out:
If you’d like to stay up to date on AI, I would recommend any of those, and I often found myself reading them before writing Algo Money posts.
What does this mean for you?
It means you won’t receive Algo Money anymore. At least, you won’t receive the ordinary weekly newsletter. Just as full disclosure: I’ll still send a few emails here and there over the next few weeks or so promoting the invitation below, because I want to make sure everybody who is interested gets a chance to get involved.
You don’t have to do anything. If you’d like to unsubscribe, go ahead. Or just wait it out. You’ll see a few more emails here and there sporadically as I make a few announcements, and then all will go quiet. Once the transition is fully complete, I’ll remove everyone from the list automatically.
Now, the invitation
I’m doing something different and, I think, much more interesting than Algo Money now, and I want to extend an invitation for you to join me.
You see, my primary interest has always been in understanding the ultimate, fundamental nature of Reality. But to do that, it’s always seemed to me that the most important thing to do is to become as smart as possible, to enhance creativity, and to develop the kind of character and habits that would maximize my ability to really ask the right questions and pursue their solutions.
So I’ve begun a process of self-betterment, to see if I can increase my general intelligence and learn more about the deep stuff: philosophy, mathematics, physics, neuroscience, etc.
And along the way, I want to leverage artificial intelligence, mental models, logic, mnemonics, biohacking, and anything else I can discover to:
Master my time
Control my attention
Increase my energy
Overall, I think having full control of one’s time, energy, and attention are the best ways to increase one’s meaning in life and go a long way towards living intelligently, which is what I really care about.
If that sounds awesome to you, then you’ll likely be interested in joining my journey, which you can do by signing up for my new newsletter: The Euv0ia Letter.
If you’ve ever dreamed about becoming a polymath and you’d like to participate in what I think will be the upcoming renaissance of creativity and individual flourishing that are being unlocked by advances in technology, The Euv0ia Letter is for you.
You can read the first post here to get a taste for what I’m doing (no signup necessary): Why The Euv0ia Letter?
Hope to see you there!
